Ukraine's military reported Monday destroying two out of three Russian drones deployed in overnight attacks.

The report did not include any information about where the intercepts took place, or if there was any damage from the third drone.

In Russia's Belgorod region, which borders Ukraine, the Russian Defense Ministry reported it thwarted a Ukrainian attack involving two drones.

Vyacheslav Gladkov, the regional governor of Belgorod, reported damage to a home and power line as a result of falling debris from two drones in the village of Dolgoye.

Ukrainian presidential adviser Mykhailo Podolyak said Monday that the war is only continuing to escalate a Russia commits resources to its invasion, and that such a war only has a military solution.

Podolyak repeated Ukrainian calls for allies to help its military with more weapons to match Russia's arsenal.

"It will still be necessary to dramatically expand military production and saturate Ukraine with a parity amount of weapons," Podolyak posted on social media. "The faster, the more effective and the better the situation will look."
